Last month we visited Wood River, Nebraska to experience the Sand Hill Crane Migration. Over 500,000 of these magnificent birds were in the area at that time, leaving the Platte River sand bars in the morning, feeding in last year’s corn fields during the day and returning to the river in the evenings. A spectacular phenomenon of avian life. #sandhillcranemigration #woodrivernebraska #cranetrust #sandhillcranes cynthia May 2, 2024 Uncategorized Continue Reading
